Saint-Gobain: acquires Kilwaughter
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announces that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Kilwaughter, a leading player in façade mortars in the UK and Ireland.
This transaction strengthens Saint-Gobain's sustainable construction offering in the UK and Ireland.
Kilwaughter has a production plant near Larne in Northern Ireland, employing around 200 people. The company generated sales of around £50m in 2024 (financial year ending April).
The transaction is expected to be completed in H1 2025.
