Nokia: to modernise NY internet network
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has been selected by DE-CIX to upgrade New York's largest Internet exchange network.
DE-CIX's backbone network will be upgraded to 400 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) using Nokia optical technology.
The Nokia optical solution also enables 800GE support for IX's expected future growth and uses reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) technology to ensure much greater routing flexibility, faster incident response times and a seamless customer experience with no service disruptions.
