Societe Generale: 75% payout increase for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - On announcing its annual results, Societe Generale announces its intention to distribute E2.
18 per share to its shareholders for 2024, i.e. a total of E1.74bn, up 75%.
On the one hand, a cash dividend of E1.09 per share will be proposed by the Board of Directors to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on 20 May. The ex-dividend date will be 26 May, and the dividend will be paid on 28 May.
The banking group is also planning a share buyback program worth E872m, equivalent to E1.09 per share. Authorisation from the ECB has been obtained to launch this program, which will begin on 10 February.
