Cnova: EBITDA margin improves in H1

(CercleFinance.com) - Cnova reports a net loss of -E53.
8m for H1 2024, albeit an improvement of E11.7m compared to H1 2023, along with EBITDA of E31.3m, i.e. a 1.1-point improvement in its margin to 6.6%.

Net sales fell 23.1% to E471m (-18.9% on a comparable basis), mainly due to lower revenues from direct sales, affected by the voluntary transition of Cnova's business model towards more services.

New customer acquisition is growing again, and the sales trend is improving month after month despite unfavorable market conditions, the online retail group's management said.
