Mattel: an embedded version of Uno with BMW
(CercleFinance.com) - American toy manufacturer Mattel announced on Thursday that it has teamed up with German carmaker BMW to develop an in-car version of its popular card game Uno.
The game, which will be unveiled at next week's gamescom in Cologne, will be installed in some 500,000 BMW and Mini vehicles from next week. In total, up to four passengers can take part in the game when the vehicle is stationary. The project is part of the partnership between BMW Group and gaming platform AirConsole, which will be signed in 2022 and has already resulted in the launch of an infotainment version of 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' in collaboration with Sony Pictures Television.
