CVS Health: Q3 EPS more than halved

The group explains that these exceptional charges, totaling $1.1bn, relate to anticipated losses for the last three months of the year, within its Medicare and individual exchange product lines.
CVS Health's adjusted operating profit fell 42.8% to $2.55bn, on revenues that rose 6.3% to over $95.4bn, driven by the healthcare benefits and consumer pharmacy-wellness segments.
