Dassault Systèmes: 3DEXPERIENCE adopted by Volvo Cars

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes has announced that Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars, already a customer of its CATIA applications, has chosen to deploy its 3DEXPERIENCE platform in its engineering processes for the development of its electric vehicles.


Volvo Cars can thus seamlessly migrate its data from CATIA applications and third-party solutions to a scalable virtual platform that supports vehicle design and development with a collaborative approach.

Volvo Cars engineers will benefit from several industry solution experiences based on 3DEXPERIENCE to improve quality, part reuse, problem management, test and validation cycle, requirements and traceability.
