Casino: launch of a mobile grocery store

(CercleFinance.com) - On the occasion of the Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales 2024, Casino announces the launch of a nomadic grocery store designed to combat commercial and social isolation in rural and peri-urban areas.


The pilot project will be rolled out in December 2024 from the Casino store in Chazelles-sur-Lyon, in the form of a van fitted out to sell products, which will criss-cross a dozen communes located in the Loire and Rhône Departments.

The range of over 350 products, including mainly Casino brand products, but also emblematic national brands, is designed to cover primary food needs units," adds the retail group.
