Figeac Aero wins contract from US Textron
(CercleFinance.com) - Figeac Aero announced last night that it had won a new five million euro contract from US aircraft manufacturer Textron for the manufacture of wing skins.
Under the terms of the agreement, the French equipment supplier will take charge of machining and surface treatment operations relating to the production of wing skins for the Beechcraft T-6 Texan II military trainer and AT-6 Wolverine light attack aircraft.
In addition to the T-6 and AT-6, Textron is best known for its Cessna business jet brand.
To date, Figeac Aero estimates that it has secured more than 36% of the objectives set out in its strategic plan to 2028, and is confident in its ability to achieve annual sales of 80 to 100 million euros from new business by March 2028.
