Atos: divests Worldgrid

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that it has sold its Worldgrid business to Alten for an enterprise value of E270m, in accordance with the binding agreement reached on 5 November following exclusive negotiations that began on 11 June.


Worldgrid provides consulting and engineering services to companies in the energy and utilities sector. The company currently employs around 1,100 people and generated sales of around E170m in 2023.

The transaction has been structured to enable full continuity of Worldgrid's service. Following this sale, Atos' net debt will be reduced by around E0.2bn, while its expected financial leverage for 2027 should be around 1.7x.
