Alten: acquisition of Worldgrid finalized

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that it has finalized the sale of its Worldgrid business to Alten for an enterprise value of 270 million euros, in accordance with the binding agreement reached on November 5 following exclusive negotiations initiated on June 11.


Worldgrid provides consulting and engineering services to companies in the energy and utilities sector. The company currently employs around 1,100 people and generated sales of around €170 million in 2023.

The transaction has been structured to allow full continuity of Worldgrid's service. Following this sale, Atos' net debt will be reduced by around 0.2 billion euros, and its expected financial leverage for 2027 should be around 1.7 times.
