Renault: Aramco acquires 10% of Horse Powertrain

(CercleFinance.com) - Renault announces the purchase of Aramco's acquisition of a 10% stake in Horse Powertrain Limited, valuing the company, in which Renault and Geely each retain a 45% stake, at E7.
4bn.

This investment consolidates the partnership between Horse Powertrain and Aramco, who are committing their joint expertise and resources to the pursuit of advances in engine and gearbox technologies, synthetic fuels and lubricants.

It aims to contribute to reductions in transport-related emissions, and to help Horse Powertrain become a leading integrated powertrain supplier to accelerate the energy transition.
