Arkema: acquires a Dow business

(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announces that it has acquired Dow's flexible packaging lamination adhesives business, an operation that will enable it to expand its portfolio of flexible packaging solutions and become a key player in this attractive market.


With annual sales of around $250m, this high-tech business operates five production sites in Italy, the US and Mexico, and has 280 employees.

This acquisition is based on an enterprise value of $150m, and will require around $50m in implementation costs or investments over the next three years.
