EssilorLuxottica: penalized by a broker downgrade

(CercleFinance.com) - Bucking the trend in Paris, EssilorLuxottica loses 1% on the back of a recommendation downgrade by UBS from 'buy' to 'neutral', despite an increase in the price target for the Franco-Italian optics giant from 232 to 248 euros.


The broker sees 'positive prospects with sales acceleration ahead', but considers the valuation to be high and says he is 'aware of risks such as customs tariffs', thus urging 'a pause to catch our breath' on the dossier.
