Ericsson: major multi-year contract with Bharti Airtel

(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson announces a multi-year, multi-billion-dollar contract with Indian telecom company Bharti Airtel for 4G and 5G RAN solutions.


Under the terms of the contract, Ericsson will deploy centralized, Open RAN-ready solutions to transform the network, delivering greater coverage and capacity to Indian customers.

Ericsson will also perform software upgrades to currently deployed 4G radios, enhancing the customer experience.
