GM: more than 2,000 charging stations installed in the USA

(CercleFinance.com) - General Motors announces that its partnership with EVgo has surpassed 2,000 co-branded public fast-charging stations, making GM one of the largest providers of fast-charging infrastructure in the United States.


The 2,000 mark was passed with the installation of the 2,000th charging point in Murrieta, California, featuring five 350 kW charging stations serving up to 10 vehicles simultaneously.

The network extends to 390 sites in 45 metropolitan markets, offering charging stations in stores, shopping complexes and city centers.

GM and EVgo plan to reach 2,850 fast DC charging stations, with an additional 400 stations in key destinations across the U.S.
