Société Générale: appointments within Market Activities

(CercleFinance.com) - Société Générale announces several appointments within its Market Activities.


Francisco Oliveira has been appointed Co-Head of Market Activities and Head of Fixed Income, Credit & Currencies, effective January 6, 2025.

Francisco will work alongside Hatem Mustapha, Co-Head of Market Activities and Head of Equities & Equity Derivatives. He was previously Co-Head of Global Macro & Global Credit at BNP Paribas from 2022.

Francisco Oliveira will report to Anne-Christine Champion and Alexandre Fleury, Co-Heads of Global Retail Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS).

He will become a member of the Group Management Committee and a member of the GBIS Executive Committee.

Sylvain Cartier has been appointed Head of Market Activities for the Americas, effective January 1, 2025. Sylvain will report locally to Stephane About, CEO of Societe Generale Americas, and globally to Francisco Oliveira and Hatem Mustapha. He will remain a member of the Group Management Committee.

Mohamed Braham has been appointed Deputy Head of Fixed Income, Credit & Currencies, effective January 6, 2025. Mohamed Braham will report to Francisco Oliveira and Hatem Mustapha. He will remain a member of the Group Management Committee.
