Eli Lilly: massive investment in Wisconsin site

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening, Eli Lilly announced a $3bn investment to expand its Kenosha County, Wisconsin plant, acquired earlier this year.
The expansion is set to begin next year.

This will enable it to expand its global manufacturing network for injectable products, to meet growing demand for its diabetes, obesity and future development drugs in all therapeutic areas.

The pharmaceutical group expects to create 750 highly-skilled jobs (operators, technicians, engineers and scientists) at this site, while the expansion is expected to generate over 2,000 construction jobs.
