Axway: AGM approves name change to 74Software

(CercleFinance.com) - Axway Software's Extraordinary General Meeting on Friday approved by 99.
87% the change of name of the business software developer, which will be renamed 74Software to reflect its change of dimension following the acquisition of Sopra Banking Software (SBS).

The shareholders of the API management and integration software specialist also approved, by over 99.99%, all the powers required to carry out the administrative and legal procedures associated with this change.

'The birth of 74Software marks an important step in the development of the new entity combining the strengths of Axway and SBS', explains the company in a press release.

This parent company will centralize the functions and services common to its product portfolio and its various brands", the company adds.

Axway completed the acquisition of Sopra Banking Software last September, enabling it to "become one of France's leading enterprise software vendors, with leading positions in the banking and financial services industries".

While the integration of the two entities has already begun, the start of 2025 should see the new group 'ramp up'.
