SLB: launches AI-controlled geo-guidance for boreholes

(CercleFinance.com) - SLB launches Neuro autonomous geoguidance, which responds to the complexities of the subsurface to drill more efficient and effective wells, while reducing the carbon footprint of drilling operations.

Using artificial intelligence (AI), Neuro geoguidance integrates and interprets complex subsurface information in real time to autonomously guide the drill bit through the most productive layer or 'sweet spot' of the reservoir.
