Alstom: $515m contract in California

(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom has announced that it has signed a contract with the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (Metrolink) to operate, maintain and service its regional passenger rail network.


The five-year contract, worth around $515m (E490m), will run from 1 January 2025 to 30 June 2030.

The contract includes a potential three-year extension, which would bring the total contract value to around $860m (E817m).

The contract continues Alstom's long-standing partnership with Metrolink, dating back to the delivery of the first Bilevel cars for Metrolink over 30 years ago. Alstom has been maintaining Metrolink's fleet since 1998.
