ABB: 5-year contract renewal with ORLEN in the Czech Republic

(CercleFinance.com) - After 12 years of partnership, ABB announces the renewal of its service contract with ORLEN Unipetrol - the Czech Republic's leading crude oil refiner - for a further five years.


The new agreement includes maintenance services, spare parts, a dedicated hotline and management of medium- and low-voltage equipment, as well as control systems and drives.

ABB is also supporting ORLEN Unipetrol in modernizing its control systems, with a gradual transition to the AC 800M controller.

This partnership is designed to reduce the risk of unforeseen breakdowns, optimize equipment efficiency and strengthen long-term collaboration between the two companies, emphasizes ABB.
