TotalEnergies: completes acquisition of SapuraOMV assets

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies today completed the acquisition of the interests of OMV (50%) and Sapura Upstream Assets (50%) in SapuraOMV, an independent gas producer and operator in Malaysia.


SapuraOMV's main assets are its 40% operated interest in Block SK408 and 30% operated interest in Block SK310, both located off the coast of Sarawak, Malaysia.

In 2024, production operated by SapuraOMV (100%), supported in particular by the start-up of production from the Jerun gas field in July, should amount to around 590 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, destined for the Bintulu liquefaction plant operated by Petronas, as well as 10,000 barrels per day of condensates.
