GTT: order for two LNG carriers in Korea

(CercleFinance.com) - Engineering group GTT has announced that, in the fourth quarter of 2024, it has received an order from Korean shipyard Hanwha Ocean to design the tanks for two new LNG carriers for Greek shipowner Maran Gas Maritime.


These two LNG carriers will each have a total capacity of 174,000 m³ and will incorporate the NO96 family membrane containment system developed by GTT. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the third and fourth quarters of 2027.
