Société Générale: comfortable with ECB requirements
(CercleFinance.com) - With a CET1 ratio of 13.
2% at 30 September 2024, Societe Generale claims a comfortable pro-forma headroom of around 300bp above the regulatory requirement of 10.22% notified by the ECB following its SREP 2024. Similarly, the banking group's leverage ratio stood at 4.25% at 30 September 2024, well above the minimum requirement of 3.6% stated by the ECB under its prudential requirements applicable from 1 January 2025.
