BMW: 100,000 EVs to be produced in Regensburg in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - BMW Group announces that its Regensburg plant has produced its 100,000th all-electric vehicle in 2024, a BMW iX1 destined for La Réunion.


Since November 2022, the site has been manufacturing electric and hybrid models for the global market.

Armin Ebner, plant manager, expressed his satisfaction at achieving targets, with more than a third of vehicles produced electrified this year.

The plant expects to produce over 330,000 units in 2024, compared with 238,301 in 2023.
