Thales: Emirates A350-900 commissioned
(CercleFinance.com) - Thales and Emirates are celebrating the entry into service of the airline's very first A350-900, flying from Dubai to Edinburgh (Scotland) on 3 January 2025.
The aircraft is equipped with Thales' state-of-the-art AVANT Up in-flight entertainment system.
Emirates has introduced a new-generation 'ice' in-flight entertainment system on the A350. This IFE system currently offers more than 30 new features, with many more to come in the coming months.
Thales' 4K QLED HDR displays offer a cinematic experience with the best image quality available on an aircraft, and ultra-responsive touch screens for smooth navigation through the immense 'ice' entertainment catalog.
The screen features an integrated Wi-Fi connection, as well as two Bluetooth connections enabling passengers to connect multiple devices.
AVANT Up offers a wide range of digital services and applications, enabling Emirates to uniquely configure on-board services for continuous improvement and a personalized experience for every passenger, it says.
