Nokia: successful test in Saudi Arabia

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced the successful completion, with Saudi operator stc Group, of the first ever 1 Tbit/s long-distance field trial in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region using Nokia's PSE-6s technology and stc Group's digital expertise.


The trial demonstrated exceptional scalability to meet the growing demand for bandwidth-hungry applications such as AI, cloud services and next-generation digital innovations.

This achievement promises seamless connectivity and supports Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 with a future-ready network infrastructure, the Finnish telecom network equipment supplier says.
