SLB: series of drilling contracts with Shell

(CercleFinance.com) - SLB says it has won a series of major drilling contracts from Shell for deepwater and ultra-deepwater assets in the UK North Sea, Trinidad and Tobago, the Gulf of Mexico and other countries.


The projects, to be delivered over a three-year period, will combine SLB's artificial intelligence-based digital drilling capabilities with its expertise in ultra-deepwater environments.

This approach will help the Group to repeatedly and predictably produce more consistent wells that improve profitability. Contracts will include services and equipment for digital directional drilling, surface logging and cementing.
