E.ON: successful bond issues at the beginning of the year

ON announces that it has successfully issued €1.75 billion in bonds in the first few days of 2025, transactions that have generated strong investor demand with a combined order book of over €4.3 billion.

The German energy group says they consist of an €850 million bond maturing in April 2033 with a 3.5% coupon, and a €900 million green bond maturing in January 2040 with a 4% coupon.

Having successfully covered a large part of our financing requirements for 2025 as early as last year, we have now secured most of those remaining for this year at an early stage", stresses CFO Nadia Jakobi.
