Elis: acquires 100% of Wäscherei Bodensee

(CercleFinance.com) - Elis has announced the acquisition of 100% of Wäscherei Bodensee in Switzerland.


The company, which has two laundries in central and eastern Switzerland, provides flat linen rental and maintenance services, mainly to customers in the healthcare (hospitals and retirement homes) and hotel/restaurant sectors.

The company currently employs 220 people. In 2024, Wäscherei Bodensee generated sales of around E27m. The acquisition will be consolidated in the financial statements from 1 January 2025.

This new acquisition will strengthen Elis' network in Switzerland, and enhance the company's customer portfolio in the country's healthcare sector.
