Crédit Agricole: cancels 15 million treasury shares
(CercleFinance.com) - Crédit Agricole reminds that on December 17, 2024, its Board of Directors decided to reduce the share capital of Crédit Agricole S.
A. through the cancellation of 15,128,677 treasury shares, representing approximately 0.5% of the share capital.
The final capital reduction was completed on January 13, 2025.
These shares had been acquired between October 1 and November 6, 2024 as part of a share buyback program designed to offset the dilutive effect of the capital increase reserved for employees in 2024.
Following this cancellation, Crédit Agricoles' share capital will amount to 9,077,707,050 euros, divided into 3,025,902,350 shares, including 1,053,639 treasury shares held at January 10, 2025 under the liquidity contract with Kepler Cheuvreux.
