E.ON: adopts ethical guidelines for the use of AI

ON announces that its governing and social bodies have adopted joint guidelines on the responsible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in November 2024.

This ethical framework aims to maximize the benefits of AI systems, such as predictive maintenance and image analysis, while supporting employees.

The agreement, aligned with EU AI regulations, includes a training program for E.ON's 75,000 employees to ensure competent and responsible use of these technologies.

Board member Victoria Ossadnik emphasizes that the agreement prepares employees for future challenges and optimizes the potential of AI.
