Volkswagen: merging fuel cards and top-ups

(CercleFinance.com) - The Volkswagen Group announced on Wednesday that it is to combine its fuel card and charging services activities within the same entity in order to strengthen its position in the mobility sector in Europe.


In a press release, the German automotive giant explains that the merger of Logpay Transport Services and Volkswagen Group Charging's mobility subsidiaries should enable it to generate synergies, reduce business duplication and unify its offerings.

The new company, named 'Elli Mobility', is due to start operations in March.
