Lockheed Martin: radar maturity for the F110 frigate

(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin, in partnership with Navantia, has successfully demonstrated the first live tracking of the AN/SPY-7(V)2 radar for Spain's F-110 multi-mission frigate.


The event, held at Lockheed Martin's Aegis SCOMBA integration center in Moorestown, confirmed the radar system's maturity.

The test marks a key milestone in the F-110 program, with delivery scheduled for 2026 and commissioning of the first frigate in 2028.

Lockheed Martin will continue to test the SPY-7 radar and Aegis system components to ensure full integration.
