Lockheed Martin: delivers 10 Black Hawks to the Philippine government

(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin has announced that it will deliver 10 S-70i Black Hawk helicopters in 2024 to the Philippine Department of National Defense, as part of a contract for 32 aircraft.


This project is designed to reinforce the existing fleet, bringing the total number of S-70i Black Hawks operated by the Philippine Air Force to 47 by 2026.

These helicopters, used for a variety of missions including relief, humanitarian aid and troop transport, will enhance the Philippines' operational capabilities and security in the Indo-Pacific.

Lockheed Martin has also appointed Asian Aerospace as an authorized reseller of spare parts and repair services for the Black Hawk family, consolidating its support for local operations.
