Moderna: Covid vaccine contract with 15 EU countries
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission's Health Emergency Response and Preparedness Authority (HERA) announces the signing of a joint procurement framework contract with Moderna, on behalf of 17 participating countries, including 15 EU member states.
This contract allows for the ordering of up to 146 million doses of COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, with a maximum duration of four years and no minimum purchase obligation.
It aims to guarantee security of supply and improve preparedness for health crises, particularly in the event of an emergency, thanks to easier transport and storage conditions.
