GE Aerospace: successful testing of the T901 engine
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Aerospace has announced the successful completion of the first ground test of the T901 engine on a U.
S. Army Black Hawk helicopter at Sikorsky's West Palm Beach facility.
This test marks an important milestone in the Black Hawk testing of the enhanced turbine engine program.
Factory testing continues in parallel with this integration effort. Data collected during these tests continues to confirm that the T901 engine is on track to meet the rigorous performance requirements of the U.S. military.
