ABB: partnership with Sage in energy storage
(CercleFinance.com) - ABB announces a memorandum of understanding with Sage Geosystems to jointly develop energy storage and geothermal generation solutions.
In particular, ABB will support Sage's agreement with Meta to supply up to 150 MW of geothermal energy in the United States, with the first operational phase scheduled for 2027. ABB plans to explore the integration of its automation, electrification and digitalization technologies to optimize the efficiency of geothermal sites.
