Saint-Gobain: to invest 40 ME in Azuqueca plant
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced a €40 million investment to expand and decarbonize its insulation plant in Azuqueca, near Madrid, Spain.
The investment will modernize the stone wool production line and install a state-of-the-art electric furnace powered by fossil fuels.
The Azuqueca plant will be the first in the Group to have an electric stone wool production line. The new facilities will be operational in the first half of 2026.
