Saint-Gobain: to invest E40m in Azuqueca plant

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain has announced a E40m investment to expand and decarbonise its insulation plant in Azuqueca, near Madrid, Spain.


The investment will modernise the stone wool production line and install a state-of-the-art electric furnace powered by fossil fuels.

The Azuqueca plant will be the first in the group to have an electric stone wool production line. The new facilities will be operational in H1 2026.
