Novo Nordisk: EPS up 22% in 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Novo Nordisk reports EPS up 22% to DKK 22.
63 (just over three euros) for the full year 2024, and operating profit up 25% (+26% at constant exchange rates) to DKK 128.3 billion.

At 290.4 billion crowns, annual sales were also up 26% at CER (including +30% in North America and +19% internationally) "reflecting the fact that more than 45 million people are now benefiting from its treatments", according to its CEO.

For 2025, the Danish pharmaceutical company - focused mainly on diabetes and obesity - anticipates growth at CER of 19 to 27% for its operating profit and 16 to 24% for its sales.

At the AGM on March 27, the Board of Directors will propose a final dividend of DKK 7.90 per share which, together with the interim dividend paid last August, will bring the total dividend for 2024 to DKK 11.40 per share, up 21%.
