Ford: 34% increase in quarterly EPS

39 in the Q72024, compared with $0.29 a year earlier, and adjusted EBIT of $2.1 billion, an improved margin of 2.1 points to 4.4%, but adjusted FCF down to $0.7 billion.
With sales volumes rising slightly (3%) to 1.19 million vehicles, revenues rose by 5% to $48.2bn, with growth in the Blue (+4%) and Pro (+6%) segments largely offsetting a decline in the Model e segment (-11%).
For FY 2025, Ford is targeting adjusted EBIT of $7bn to $8.5bn, as well as adjusted FCF of E3.5bn to E4.5bn, compared with E10.2bn and E6.7bn respectively for the whole of the previous year.
The automaker has also announced its intention to pay regular and additional dividends of 15 cents per share each in Q1 2025, payable on 3 March to shareholders who are registered on 18 February.
