Nokia: modernizing air traffic management in Vietnam

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that its network solution has been chosen by the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM) to replace the SDH transport system with IP/MPLS technology in southern Vietnam.


The new network will improve the safety and reliability of air traffic control, with commissioning scheduled for the second quarter of 2025, says Nokia.

Compliant with International Civil Aviation Organization standards, the solution will optimize air traffic management through advanced analytics and greater flexibility.

Nokia will also provide enhanced cybersecurity features, including protection against quantum threats.
