Alstom: new production for the Toulouse metro
(CercleFinance.com) - Alstom and Tisséo Collectivités have organized a visit to Alstom's Tarbes site, where the traction boxes for the rolling stock destined for Line C of the Toulouse metro are produced.
Assembly of the metro is underway, and the first trainset will arrive at the Centre d'Essais Ferroviaires in Valenciennes in early September 2025. ' Alstom is delighted to see the start of production of this new rolling stock. These new, modern and comfortable trains represent a considerable asset in the improvement of the network and the passenger experience in the Toulouse Metropolis' said Frédéric Wiscart, President of Alstom France.
