Ferrari: Deutsche Bank initiates 'hold', targets 430 euros
(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Bank announced on Thursday that it had initiated a watch on Ferrari with a 'hold' recommendation and a price target of 430 euros, believing the stock to be well valued at its current levels.
In a note, the analyst recalls that the sports car manufacturer's financial performance has always been in a 'class of its own', but that it has improved even further recently, confirming the Maranello group's status as a symbol of luxury automobiles.
The intermediary points out that the group's excellent pricing policy, combined with its low exposure to China, has enabled its share price to more than double in the last two years.
But maintaining historical highs on the stock market also means consistently outperforming expectations and regularly raising targets, he reminds us in a note.
However, deliveries of its next 'supercar', the F80, are not expected before the end of 2025, he points out, which he believes limits the potential for improvement in prices and profit margins.
According to Deutsche, it also remains to be seen whether Ferrari will be able to hold its own with the launch of its first electric vehicle, at the dawn of a new period that will be marked by the need to prioritize carbon neutrality.
