Sanofi: ISP mandate for share buybacks

(CercleFinance.com) - Sanofi announces that it has entered into a mandate with an investment services provider (ISP) for the second tranche of its five-billion-euro share buyback program, unveiled in conjunction with the publication of its annual results at the end of January.

Under the terms of this mandate, the healthcare giant will buy back its own shares for a maximum amount of two billion euros, between February 7 and December 31 at the latest, with a view to cancelling them.

As a reminder, a first tranche of the program was announced on February 3 and finalized on February 5, for an amount of three billion euros, in the form of an off-market block transaction with its shareholder L'Oréal.
