URW: CDP maintains 'A' rating
(CercleFinance.com) - Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) has announced that it has received CDP's highest climate change rating 'A' for the seventh consecutive year, in recognition of its actions under its Better Places sustainability plan.
Over the past year, the real estate group achieved reductions of 42% in carbon emissions on its scopes 1, 2 and 3, as well as 37% in energy intensity (compared with 2015), and began rolling out its Better Places certification. This certification for shopping centers has been deployed on 14 URW assets, representing around 30% of its European retail portfolio, ahead of its target to certify 10 assets by the end of 2024.
