Renault: new range of 100%-electric vans
(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday, Renault unveiled the names and silhouettes of its future range of 100% electric commercial vans, which will comprise the 'Estafette', 'Goelette' and 'Trafic' vehicles.
The Renault brand explains that it intends to offer a complete, flexible and scalable range, based on its 'SDV' ('software defined vehicle') software architecture developed by its electrification subsidiary Ampere.
This new line is also part of the collaboration with Flexis, an independent company founded in collaboration with Volvo and CMA CGM.
With the Renault Trafic E-Tech, the manufacturer plans to bring to market the fourth generation of its Renault Trafic, of which over 2.5 million have been produced since 1980.
The vehicle features contemporary proportions and a single-volume design, with a "sleek and dynamic" silhouette.
The Goelette E-Tech electric will be available in three versions: chassis cab, box and tipper, offering a wide range of converted vehicles.
Finally, the Estafette E-Tech is a contemporary reinterpretation of Renault's iconic 1960s utility vehicle, adapted to the demands of modern urban logistics.
Its design is largely inspired by the Renault Estafette Concept presented last September.
All three vehicles will be produced in France, at the Renault Group's Sandouville plant, and will be available from 2026.
