Beneteau: 2024 sales down 29.4%

3m, exceeding the latest forecasts, management said.

FY 2024 group sales amounted to E1,034.4m, down 29.4%.

The Sailing business, which accounts for 49% of group boat sales, was down 26.5% on the historic performance of 2023, which saw growth of 31%.

The Engine business, which accounts for 51% of group boat sales, was down 32.5%, essentially impacted by the effect of inventory changes at dealers, with sales to end customers (sell-out) up 4% over the year, Beneteau says.

Business in H1 2025 is likely to continue to suffer from ongoing destocking of networks, both in the US and Europe, and by the slowdown in the multihull sailing market. The group is therefore continuing to implement measures to adapt its cost structure, while preserving its ability to rebound, management says.
